Seend C.E. Aided Primary School - Governing Body

As a Church of England Voluntary Aided school, the majority of the governors are appointed by the Diocese of Salisbury, on the recommendation of the Parochial Church Council of the parish of Seend. These governors are called “Foundation” governors and at least two of them must be parents. In addition, there are two elected parent governors (elected by the other parents), a Local Education Authority (LEA) governor, the Headteacher and another teacher. The Rector and Headteacher are always governors by
virtue of their office.
